It’s been a long and winding road to get here, so let me give you the highlight reel!

Yoga takes you into the present moment. The only place where life exists.

Even before I became a fitness photographer in London, fitness has always been a huge part of my life. Whether it’s riding a horse, skiing down a mountain or hiking up a hill, if I’m outdoors and I’m exhausted, I’m happy. I even jumped horses for Holland back in the day!

But my body got older (as they tend to do) and I started flexing my creative muscles. First studying Fashion in Amsterdam, and then onto Graphic Design in London. And then finally picking up a camera and finding my creative spark in photography and videography.

I’m totally obsessed with good, healthy food (except sweetcorn. Don’t get me started on sweetcorn). And I love cooking, walking that fine line between making something totally delicious and completely guilt-free!

I bounced around the world a lot when I was little and it’s given me a deep-rooted love of travelling. Because trying new things, eating new foods, hearing new sounds and meeting new people is the best experience there is.

And that’s why I love my job so much. Because beneath the photography and creative aspect of what I do, being a branding photographer is all about meeting new people and learning about your story. Finding out what makes you who you are, understanding your vision and helping you define the message you want to share with the world. And then finding a way to capture that in an image.
